I started knitting in 2006 and it quickly turned into an obsession. I started with scarves and have moved to hats. I’ve done a few other items such as fingerless gloves and vests. I started knitting when I came to run a rape crisis center and find it very Zen after dealing with crime and trauma. I run: The Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault, a small non-profit serving sexual assault survivors.
I am an also an art therapist and sometime painter.
